Short film & My interview experiences

Short film making - I heard this from my friend some months ago. He is an aspiring cine director. we did our college together. Now he works for a networking biggie. Seems that he is free most of the times now and using the time, he prepared an one-liner story last week. The complete story and the scripts are getting ready. Tidbit is:- I am also acting??! in that ;)
So, adhu oru comedy subject thaan.. hehe
I will post the status of this sometime if we start the project (ore technical jargons thaan po)

Interviews:
I think I will get enough experience with which I can go write a book on the above mentioned topic.
So far, I have gone through 37(Did I miss any numbers??) interview processes after completing my graduation in 2004.
Interviews are unarguably an unavoidable part of every professional's career. Everyone has their own way/key of cracking inteviews. I wonder, how no one is left jobless at the end of day.
Luck plays a significant role in anybody's life. I started believing the luck-factor completely now-a-days.
I read somewhere that, attitude impinges the luck factor of a person!

Hmm, back to my interviews...
I definitely had some good experience in being interviewed by programmers, leads, technical managers, program managers, HR managers, HR associates, consulting companies, Client-of-the-company-for-which-I-have-applied-for, recruiting agencies, and the list goes on...
Some were funny, most were serious and few were one-sided ;( (not my side obviously)

My overall perception is, If one is technically competent, we can crack almost all the interviews for our job role.
If we are not, still we can make it through proper preparation + good attitude + shrewdness.

bandh hay bandh !!!

weekend special post;
Nothing special in this post ! Just my musings.

Yesterday was called off for a full day bandh* by the ruling party and allies in TN against the supreme court's verdict on the reservation case issue. And they said later that the bandh* was a great success. what the heck !
No commutation within tamilnadu. Guess how it would be. And It was great fun driving in chennai city yesterday. Absolutely no traffic, no mamas. jolly o jolly... I touched my maximum speed in my pulsar yesterday (within city limits) - Guess what? Just 110 kmph - I guess it is a big speed for 150 cc machines within city since we cant get the road stretch like freeways!
And in the evening, took a drive on the lovely ECR with friends. played beach cricket for more than two hours. (could see lotsa couples smooching and loving hard on ECR beaches !@!@#E$#@ huh !!! now-a-days)
while returning, interestingly i had a non-official race with some anonymous bikers... it was really thrilling. It continued for a long distance and ended when I took the road to guindy from madhya kailash.

idhukkellam sethu today evening, myself and my friend went to bodygod muneeswarar kovil to put poojai...

all set now ! poojai pottachu !!!! no harms hereafter :)


* bandh - a non english word. donno where from we got that ! could be hindi... It can be related to something like a group's refusal to work in order to press their demands.

1 month - what did I do?

Huh ! It is almost a month since I blogged. Was I busy???yes... a kind of. but not with office work :D
Past one month, I can comment on two happenings. One is the completion of web component exam and the other one is the kerala trip with my mom and dad. A small vacation after quite a long time. We visited guruvayur, thrissur and kumarakom. We stayed on the banks of vembanad lake. The climate was very hot (chennai is better :( )... But we enjoyed the greenish country a lot. Native people were very good and friendly...
vembanad lake is a huge freshwater lake that connects to the Arabian sea at one side. It is a huge lake with lots of birds staying on the banks. There is a bird sanctuary nearby. One unbelievable thing is that vembanad lake is just 5 / 6 feet deep all over. I tried swimming for some time... but the water was not good near the resorts. It was full of weeds.

folder lock without using any software

Trick to lock your private folder

Suppose you want to lock the folder games in d: which has the path D:\Games
===>In the same drive create a text file and type

ren games games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

===>Now save this text file as loc.bat
===>create another text file and type in it

ren games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} games

===>Now save this text file as key.bat
===>Now you can see 2 batch files loc and key.
===>Press loc and the folder games will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents.
===>Press key and you will get back your original folder.try it out!!!!!!!

PS: I took this from a site...Not my own stuff. This actually seems to be a windows utility. I saw this in that site one guy is claiming that this is his stuff ;) kinda weirdo...

ஹ்ம்ம்ம் என் கதைக்கு வருவோம். போன ஞாயித்து கிழமை சாயந்தரம் ஒரு reception attend பண்ணிட்டு கிளம்பினேன்... எக்மோர் ல இருந்து கோடம்பாக்கம் வந்து என் friend அ drop பண்ணிட்டு என் வீட்டுக்கு (ஆதம்பாக்கம்) போறத ப்ளான். nungambakkam ல ஒருத்தன் karizma ல யாரோ ஒரு பொண்ணோட என்ன overtake பண்ணிட்டு போனான். androgen over secrete ஆக, அவன முந்தியே தீரணும்னு நானும் என் pulsar உம் (அதுவும் 150 CC தான் ) பறக்குறோம். கூடவே பின்னாடி பாவமா என்னோட friend. என்ன இறக்கி விட்ரா. நான் auto பிடிச்சி கோடம்பாகம் போயிடாரேன்ணு கெஞ்சுறான். ம்ஹூம்... நானும் கோடம்பாக்கம் bridge தாண்டுற வரைக்கும் try பண்ணேன்.. கூட வந்தவன் விட்ட சாபம் போல, அந்த karizma காரண ஒரு சின்ன gap ல overtake பண்ணாலம்ன்ணு try பண்னப்போ road splitter ல கால மோதிக்கிட்டேன். அப்போ இருந்த josh ல அது ஒண்ணும் தெரியல. அவன ஒரு வழியா overtake பண்ணிட்டு வீட்டுக்கு வந்து சேந்தா கால்ல light ஆ வழி ... வீரனுக்கு விழுப்புண் சகஜம் அப்டீன்னு எடுத்திட்டு என் friend க்கு போன் பண்ணி நான் முந்தின கத ய பெருமயா சொன்னேன்., அது ஆச்சி 4 நாளு ... இன்னும் வலி தீந்த பாடு இல்ல. வண்டில இருந்து கீழே விழுந்துட்டேன் ன்னு கதைய கெளப்பி விட்டுத்ானுங்க. light ஆ எல்லாருகிட்டேயும் அசிங்க பட்டேன் .
வலி எப்போ போகுமோ கடவுளே !!!
